Terms of use

By using StatChecked you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

StatChecked provides free statistics and tools for League of Legends, Formula 1, chess and the outdoors, daily puzzles, a Worlds pick’em with a Discord bot, and browser games. Statistics are derived from third-party sources and are provided as-is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. Do not rely on them for anything where an error would cause you loss.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or older to create an account or use the Discord bot.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, crawl or make automated bulk requests to the site or its API (search engines following robots.txt excepted).
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access data that is not yours.
• Do not use chat, names, reviews, photos or comments to harass others or post unlawful, hateful, sexual or infringing content.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secret; use one you don’t use anywhere else. Don’t put personal information such as your real name or email in your username or display name. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your content

You own what you post: display names, chat messages, reviews, ratings, condition reports, photos, comments and pick’em names. You give Shore Software a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display and adapt it to run the site for as long as it is posted. Post only what you have the rights to. We may remove content or names, and suspend accounts, that break these terms.

Worlds pick’em

The pick’em is free and just for fun. There is no entry fee and there are no prizes or anything of monetary value; it is not betting and may not be used for wagering. Picks lock at each match’s scheduled start, and we may correct results or void matches. It isn’t run, sponsored or endorsed by Riot Games or LoL Esports, and isn’t affiliated with LoL Esports’ own Pick’Ems.

Discord bot

By adding the bot to a server you confirm you’re allowed to. Server managers choose where it posts and whom its new-match messages notify. Discord’s own Terms of Service also apply when you use it.

Outdoors and safety check-ins

Trail, route, condition, weather and trip information may be wrong or out of date; use your own judgement. Safety check-ins are a convenience, not an emergency or monitoring service: alerts depend on phones, networks and third parties and may be late or never sent. Always tell someone your plans, and call emergency services directly in an emergency.

Third-party content

League of Legends data is provided by the Riot Games API. StatChecked isn’t endorsed by Riot Games and doesn’t reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Team names and logos are trademarks of their owners.

Formula 1 data comes from OpenF1 and the Jolpica historical database, and from Formula 1’s public timing service through the open-source FastF1 library. StatChecked is unofficial and is not associated in any way with the Formula 1 companies. F1, FORMULA ONE, FORMULA 1, FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, GRAND PRIX and related marks are trade marks of Formula One Licensing B.V. No advertising is shown alongside Formula 1 data.

Ending

You can stop using StatChecked and ask us to delete your data at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Shore Software is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
